Edit #1 - (I know it says distrib 3 but distrib 2 was the first version we released)

Hello everybody!

Drifter is finally here! Yes, it's a sequel to Derpy Buddy, but also to Stroll by Silly Mare Games.

The downloadable zip here on DA contains a few preview screenshots from the game.

Here is a download link for the game itself:
www.mediafire.com/download/rqn…

Also, I did not make this by myself. I was part of a team and we all contributed to this game.
I'm posting this here because this is Derpy Buddy 3, even though it goes by 'Drifter.'

Be sure to read the three text files included with the game, as they provide important information both technical and in-game related (don't worry, they are very brief, almost minimalist).
Some graphics options, like fullscreen, can be changed by opening Config.lua in notepad or other text editor.

This will be updated whenever we fix any bugs or resolve any other issues, so keep up to date with us if you can!

Enjoy!

it's been 8 years... once in a blue moon since I last tried to play this little game, which I never beat, I'd remember with fondness the atmosphere, the music, the lighting, and how calm parts of it was. I'd think about how if only I could go back and play it someday, but I couldn't remember the name... but thanks to EQD never cleaning up their log of article posts, I finally sought to find this again, dug through all their game posts, and found this once again! Drifter!

and I can happily say that (with some guidance from comments on here) I finally got to finish the game, and see the credit roll in the clouds with a pang of happiness in my heart from finishing it, and how cute the ending was.

That said, Twilight's animation scared the living daylights out of me because I didn't even see her, maybe the camera got stuck, but all I wanted was to avoid the hunter, and the next thing I knew the loudest scariest screech and blinding light flashed just to the side of the screen.

I'm glad to have gotten to still play this again, even after all these years. thank you for letting it be still accessible.
